A THOUSAND wild daffodils were planted along a pathway between Oakley and Kempshott.
The Jubiloaks group invited members of the public to help plant the flowers along the chalk heaps section of the multi-user path.
The voluntary association aims to plant and maintain native woods, trees, hedgerows, meadows and wildflowers.
Children and adults helped plant the bulbs along the path, which took an hour-and-a-half to plant all 1,000.
Eve Askew, treasurer of Jubiloaks, said: “A beautiful morning dawned and great fun was had by all.”
