A RESTAURANT could be opened at a Basingstoke garden centre if plans are given the go-ahead by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Dummer Garden Centre has applied for permission to vary a condition attached to a former planning application to allow a restaurant to operate at the garden centre.
The application says: “There are currently no refreshment facilities available for customers despite themcustomers expecting such a facility at a modern garden centre.
“The provision of a small-scale ancillary garden centrerestaurant will result in an improved and expanded range of facilities for customers that will allow the garden centre to remain an attractive destination."
A decision is expected by September 10.
