CLASSICAL guitar music will entertain an audience at Whitchurch Silk Mill.

Australian Duo Agostino are back at the mill by popular demand for a second concert entitled Duo Agostino: Crossing Continents, Destination Whitchurch.

The show is being held this Sunday, presented by Vincent Lindsey-Clark, from Whitchurch, who will join the pair for a couple of pieces.

Raffaele and Janet Agostino, who hail from Sydney, are both regular performers at the Darwin International Guitar Festival, and were both awarded life membership by the Classical Guitar Society, in Sydney.

Vincent said: I spent some time recently as principal overseas guest recitalist and tutor at the Sydney Guitar Summer School, and soWhen Raffaele and Janet told me they were coming to the UK, I suggested they might like to play in Whitchurch Silk Mill again.

“The Silk Mill is a wonderful venue for an intimate guitar recital. It has a unique ambience and good acoustics. The audience will be enchanted by Janet and Raffaele’s playing and will enjoy their warm Aussie humour.”

Starting at 7.30pm, tickets cost £12 (£10 concessions) and can be bought from the Silk Mill shop, by telephoning 01256 892065 or visiting ticketsource.co.uk/event/90213.
