A TADLEY father will take part in a gruelling charity golf fundraiser to raise cash for a good cause.
Father-of-two Stephen Reid, of Hangar Road, Tadley, will be playing 72 holes of golf with three of his friends at Bishopswood Golf Course on July 26 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The 34-year-old was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2007 and received treatment including chemotherapy and radiotherapy at Southampton General Hospital.
Stephen said: “We all know someone that has been affected by this awful illness.
“We have a lot of family members that have had cancer, some are no longer with us, but many have survived – including myself.
“Living with cancer is a horrible time for all affected. Macmillan Cancer Support are there to try and make things just that little bit easier.”
