A BASINGSTOKE care home is opening its doors this month as part of Care Home Open Day.
Pemberley House, in Grove Road, Viables, Basingstoke, will hold an open day on Friday.
To mark the occasion, the care home will be launching its Pemberley House Annual Art Exhibition.
The exhibition will display numerous works of art produced by residents and the winner of a community-wide logo design competition will be announced.
The competition will be judged by the Deputy Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Councillor Jane Frankum, who represents the Popley West ward.
The winning design will be used as the logo for future exhibition events.
Refreshments such as ice cream and a traditional fish and chips lunch will be served before a “summer wonder” show takes place at 2.30pm.
