A CENTRE which offers a programme of support for disadvantaged young jobseekers is holding an open day.
Enham Trust’s Skills2Achieve Centre, in Kingsclere Road, Basingstoke will open its doors to prospective learners and local businesses on June 11, from noon to 2pm.
The event is aimed at young people looking to improve their career prospects, to show them how Skills2Achieve can help them.
Those attending can take part in two micro-teaching sessions, listen to presentations from past learners and talk to tutors about the support available.
The event will also give businesses interested in supporting the programme the chance to see how it makes a difference to the lives of young people.
Skills2Achieve supports 16 to 19-year-olds not in education, employment or training, and disabled people up to 25 years old, by helping them find work, begin an apprenticeship or start full-time education.
