Find out how to attract bees to your garden at the Whitewater Plant Centre's open day
FAMILIES can get back to nature at a Hook garden centre’s open day.
The Whitewater Plant Centre in Hound Green is throwing open its doors on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
The event is an opportunity to explore the newly improved centre and its award winning trade business Hortus Loci and learn about its preparations for the Chelsea Flower Show.
This year’s emphasis is on attracting bees, birds and bugs to your garden. There will be talks and demonstrations from Reading Beekeepers Society and Hampshire Wildlife Trust.
There will also be ale and cheese sampling, face painting and children’s games.
