A FORMER special constable and past A Place to be Proud of Unsung Hero award winner has been named police and public liaison officer by Kingsclere Parish Council.
Stewart Packham, of Cedar Drive, was a special constable for 27 years and recently retired from the voluntary role.
The parish council asked him to continue in the adapted role.
