HE HAS just finished starring in The Anvil’s Christmas pantomime - and now Keith Chegwin is enjoying his first day in the Big Brother house.
The former Cheggers Plays Pop presenter was the last of 14 celebrities to enter Celebrity Big Brother last night.
Keith, 57, from Ashmansworth near Highclere, is now the early favourite to win the Channel 5 competition, with bookmakers Paddy Power and William Hill giving him odds as short as 5/2.
He was second favourite yesterday, when he was rumoured to appear in the reality TV show.
Other contestants include columnist Katie Hopkins, former Eastenders actress Nadia Sawalha, American gossip magnate Perez Hilton and actor Ken Morley, best known for playing Reg Holdsworth in Coronation Street.
