THE video below shows a clip from a new star-studded Channel 4 period drama, which features a Basingstoke student.
The trailer has been broadcast on television advertising Indian Summers – a 10-part series set in 1932, due to air early in 2015.
The drama, which stars Julie Walters, is the first big role landed by Queen Mary’s College student Ashna Rabheru.
The 17-year-old, who is in her second year at the college in Cliddesden Road, spent two-and-a-half months in Malaysia for the filming after successfully auditioning for the role.
