ASIAN gold jewellery was the target for thieves during two burglaries in Basingstoke.
The first burglary took place between 5pm and 8.45pm on Saturday, December 6, at a house in Gilbert Close, Popley.
The second was at a house in Paterson Close, Brighton Hill, between 1.30pm and 8.10pm on Tuesday, December 9.
Police said the occupants were away from home when the thieves broke in and stole high-value Asian gold jewellery.
PC Lisa Cooper appealed for witnesses, particularly from people who saw anyone acting suspiciously, or who saw any vehicles that were out of place.
