THE North Waltham, Steventon, Ashe and Deane History Society will be holding their next meeting tonight.
Dave Yaldren, a former Mid Hants train guard and current volunteer on the Watercress Line, will be talking to members about the development of the line from its early working days to how it has transformed in its role as a tourist attraction today.
The meeting will take place from 8pm at the North Waltham School Hall, in Church Road.
Visitors are welcome with entry costing £2, which includes coffee, biscuits and opportunities to talk to Dave and history society members. Entry for students is free.
