Basingstoke hotel to raise money through rowing challenge
A BASINGSTOKE hotel is encouraging people to pull the oars of a static rowing machine for nearly 14 hours to raise money for a local charity.
The event, in aid of Basingstoke NeighbourCare, takes place at Hampshire Court Hotel on October 15, when two rowing machines will be kept in constant use from 6.30am until 8pm.
Members of the public can book a slot of 10 minutes for a minimum donation of £5 by calling 01256 330360 or emailing hampshirecourtleisure@qhotels.co.uk.
