A FORMER computer shop could be transformed into a new cafe if plans are given the green light by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Dilip Ali has applied to the borough council for permission to change the use of 28 Franklin Avenue from an A2 computer use to an A3 coffee shop use.
If plans are approved by the borough council, Mr Ali will employ four full-time members of staff and four part-time employees and the cafe will be open between 12 noon and 2pm, Monday to Sunday and on bank holidays, and will reopen in the evening between 5pm and 11pm, Monday to Saturday and between 5pm and 10.30pm on Sundays and bank holidays.
