THE annual Chain Reaction Challenge, organised by AWE, saw children from across the region take part in fun scientific experiments.
The event was held at Tadley Community Centre and saw children aged between nine and 11 tasked with constructing a chain reaction device using only classroom and household objects.
Basingstoke and Deane Mayor Councillor Roger Gardiner was among the judges who declared St Nicholas’ School, in Fleet, the winner.
