OFFICERS are trying to trace a woman who said a taxi driver touched himself inappropriately on a journey between Reading and Basingstoke.
The incident took place between 2am and 4am on Sunday, June 29, on the A33.
The victim, thought to be aged 20, got the taxi after drinking in Reading with a friend. At some point in the journey, she got out and fled having seen the driver touch himself inappropriately, Thames Valley Police said.
She was found in Rockbourne Road, Sherfield Park, by a passer-by and told them what happened. She was then collected by her parents.
The passer-by reported the incident to the police, who would now like to trace the woman.
She is described as white and slim, 5ft 8ins tall with brown, bobbed hair and a tattoo. She was wearing black leggings, a black top and black boots.
Anyone with information can contact Thames Valley Police on 101.
