New home plan rejected by Hart District Council
A PLAN to build a new four-bedroom house between Newnham and Hook has been rejected.
David Dean applied to demolish High Ridge House in Hook Road and replace it with a new home.
But planning officers at Hart District Council rejected the plan using delegated powers, stating the replacement building would have an “adverse impact” on the rural character of the countryside.
