POLICE are appealing for witnesses after jewellery worth £1,000 was stolen during a burglary in Kings Furlong, earlier last week.
They are appealing for members of the public to come forward if they saw someone carrying a red pillow case in the Packenham Road area of Kings Furlong between 6.30pm on April 3 and 8.30pm on April 4.
The incident occured after the offender or offenders gained access to the property by forcing open a rear window.
PC Alex Hall said: “This burglary may have taken place during the day, so someone may have seen something which could assist my investigation.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Hall at Basingstoke Police Station on 101 or call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
