A MAN with a limp attacked a 17-year-old girl in Popley.
The assault took place sometime between 12.30am and 3am, on Thursday, March 6, in the Anglesey Close, Falkland Road and Bermuda Close areas.
During the assault, it is thought the girl hit the back of her head on a wall, but did not require immediate treatment for the injury.
It is thought the victim knew her attacker.
He is described as white, in his mid 20s, of slim build, walked with a limp and wore a grey hooded top.
A 27-year-old man from Bordon was arrested in connection with the assault and has been bailed until June 6, pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information can contact Detective Constable Ben Lee at Basingstoke police station on 101.
