LAVERSTOKE Park Farm will feature on James Martin’s new television show today.
The chef visited the farm in December for BBC1 programme Home Comforts.
The crew met the farm’s buffalos, watched them being milked and saw how the milk is turned into mozzarella, with resident cheese expert Margaretha explaining the process.
Jody Scheckter, who owns the farm with his wife Clare, visited James’ home to try the mozzarella-based dish that James created.
Mrs Scheckter told The Gazette: “We haven’t seen the edit yet, but, true to form, Jody was brutally honest, and his reaction was not the ‘mmmm delicious’ response that you expect on a cookery programme.”
