ADDITIONAL funds are needed to deal with a damp problem uncovered during renovations of Whitchurch town hall.
Updating fellow councillors on the progress of the refurbishment project, Whitchurch town councillor John Wall said a maximum of £6,000 was needed to resolve a problem with damp, adding: “If we don’t do it soon, we won’t be able to finish the refurbishment downstairs.”
Cllr Andrew Klemz said: “The money was allocated for the next financial year but the wish is to spend it in this year.” Councillors agreed to do that.
