A WOMAN whose body was discovered on a balcony at Crown Heights has been identified.

San Wai Wong, 45, from Macau, in China, was found by a member of the public at the 13-storey complex, in Alencon Link, at around 8.45am on Monday.

Her next of kin have been informed.

Detectives are continuing their investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding her death and how her body came to be on the balcony on the fifth floor.

They have been unable to confirm to The Gazette whether the woman fell to her death and are treating it as “unexplained”.

A post-mortem examination on Tuesday revealed the cause of death as multiple injuries.

Officers are working closely with the community and carrying out door-to-door enquiries.

Anyone who saw or heard anything unusual between 9pm on Sunday, February 9, and 9am on Monday, February 10 is asked to contact police on 101 quoting Operation Astute.
