Cookery course on offer to help older Hartley Wintney men
A FREE cookery course for men aged over 55 will take place in Hartley Wintney this month.
The six-week course is being organised by Rosefield Court, in Monachus Lane, along with Hart District Council and Hampshire County Council, and will start on Tuesday, February 18.
It aims to give men ideas on preparing simple, healthy meals, shopping tips and safe storage advice.
Councillor Anne Crampton, portfolio holder for housing and health at Hart, said: “Many men who find themselves carers or widowed need skills they have never had the need to acquire before.”
