A ROBBER threatened a man near Basingstoke roundabout in the early hours of this morning.
The robbery took place as the 19-year-old male victim walked across the park between the Victory Roundabout and Lower Brook Street, Brookvale, between around 12.30am this morning.
A man, described as white with a heavy build, threatened him and asked for money, taking £50.
The suspect is described as around 6ft 1ins tall, in his mid-to-late 20s and wore a black hooded top, green chinos and white high-top trainers.
Detective Constable Andy Panter said: “The victim was not assaulted during the incident but the threat of violence will not be tolerated.”
