Police have released e-fit in appeal for information

DETECTIVES investigating an allegation of sexual assault have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to.

Some time between 9pm and 11pm on November 12, a 32-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man at the Apollo Hotel in Popley Way, Basingstoke.

The man has been described as white, aged in his late 30s, balding and had a wrinkled face with blue eyes.

He spoke with a Polish accent and had a tattoo on his lower back and was wearing blue jeans and brown work boots.

Detective Constable Simon Quickfall said: “This incident happened in a room at the hotel, but someone may have seen the man outside the hotel.

“If you know who this man is, please contact me.”
