BASINGSTOKE Loddon Rotary Club members will raise funds for Dial-A-Ride on Saturday in the town’s Festival Place shopping centre.
The charity provides affordable specialist transport to people in Basingstoke and Deane with physical or mental impairments.
Chris Flemming, who chose Dial-A-Ride as this year’s President’s charity, said: “We are giving away packets of seeds with information about Rotary on them, directing people to our website to find out more.
“Dial-A-Ride needs to raise £90,000 in charity donations over the next three years to fund the replacement of their two specialist vehicles.”
