A PUPIL at a secondary school near Odiham has had a poem published in a national newspaper.
Helena Radmann, a pupil at Lord Wandsworth College, Long Sutton, wrote a poem called Unless about bears in China farmed for their bile, which is used in traditional medicines.
She came first in the national poetry competition organised by charity Animals Asia. Max Luard, also a pupil at the school, came second.
Helena's poem was published in the Daily Express.
