EXTENDED diploma performing arts and BTEC/A level music students at Queen Mary’s College are to perform Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita.
This iconic musical is based on the larger-than-life persona of Eva Peron.
The musical follows Eva's meteoric rise to sainthood, wealth and power and explores how she became so beloved of her people.
Featuring Don't Cry For Me Argentina, On This Night of a Thousand Stars, Another Suitcase in Another Hall and Oh What A Circus, Evita won seven Tony Awards when it premiered on Broadway.
Following the success of Les Miserables, the performing arts students would like to welcome you to another epic musical.
See Evita in Queen Mary’s Hall, QMC, from Wednesday, February 11 until Saturday 14.
