HART Male Voice Choir recently joined forces with Church Crookham Junior School Choir and Fleet Rotary to present a programme of songs to an enthusiastic audience at the Elvetham Church on the Heath.

The Hart choir, under its musical director Margaret Brackenborough and accompanist Judith Morgan, treated the audience to a mixture of choral and solo songs from the shows and around the world.

There were songs from Africa, America, and Wales as well as from South Pacific and of course Les Miserables.

In contrast to the marvellous massed voices of the choir the Crookham Junior delighted the audience with their youthful sound and enthusiastic smiling faces as they performed I Believe, When I Grow Up and Only You.

Fleet Rotary President Peter Vincent thanked both choirs and audience for a concert which raised a total of nearly £1,000 for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
