BASINGSTOKE guitarist and vocalist Sugarman Sam has secured a slot supporting Ben Poole.
Twenty-five year old Ben Poole is currently being described as the most exciting young blues guitarist to come out of the UK for a long, long time.
Ben will headline a gig in Talking Heads in Southampton on March 19, supported by Sugarman Sam and Kodiak Bears. Tickets cost £10.
Sam said: “I'm really looking forward to supporting Ben in Southampton. I think he's on to a good thing and he's starting to have the success he deserves from years of hard work.
“I'm trying to do just that with the Voodoo Men, to create music that is true to myself and isn't just something that people can pigeonhole. Sure, we're a blues band, but there's elements of rock, country and jazz in there too.
“I am a British-blues-fan-in-your-face-British-rock-guitar-player!”
