BILLY Fury's band Fury's Tornados played live and recorded with him for over a decade.
All original members are now back on tour with Colin Gold as Fury, and they're coming to The Haymarket on Saturday, February 28 at 7.30pm.
Sixties star Billy Fury stormed the charts with 29 hit singles including Last Night Was Made For Love, Wondrous Place, Jealousy, I Will, I'd Never Find Another You and, of course Halfway To Paradise, which spent over half a year on the charts.
Four years after his final top 10 hit I'm Lost Without You, he hired a band from Nottingham and called them Fury's Tornados.
They remained with him throughout a decade that saw Fury become increasingly beleaguered with heart problems, until his death on January 29, 1983.
Performing in Basingstoke are Charlie Elston, Chris Raynor, John Raynor, Graham Wyvill and, as Billy Fury, Colin Gold. Billy will be there onscreen too!
