World record-holding beatboxer Shlomo is back on home turf this autumn.
The award-winning looping artist returns to his home town of Basingstoke with his Human Geekbox Tour in The Forge at The Anvil on Friday, October 25.
Since taking up beatboxing in 2002, Shlomo has won global acclaim and worked with some of the biggest names in music including Bjork, Jarvis Cocker, Martha Wainwright and Bill Bailey.
Shlomo’s fascinating live performance technique uses a loop pedal to sample his voice on the fly, enabling him to create and rework a huge range of original songs and well loved classics.
Come on a mad beatbox journey to Planet Geek and back as Shlomo explores the art and science of geekdom, gadgets and the music of the human voice.
