BASINGSTOKE Amateur Theatrical Society (BATS) has boosted its online presence with the launch of a brand new website.

Unveiling its refreshed branding under the strap line “Dedicated to quality amateur theatre” the site features plenty of colour-ful photos of the society’s current and previous prod-uctions in spectacular style.

There is plenty of new content, too, including a history of BATS, show reviews from the last 10 years as well as production details from previous shows.

The interactive site takes advantage of social media channels to make it easier for BATS supporters and those new to the society to keep in touch via the Facebook page, BATS Twitter account and on YouTube. Audience members can also provide feedback and rate any BATS shows they have seen.

Bryn Hughes, BATS’s PR and marketing officer, worked on the project with two others for almost a year.

Bryn said: “A new website has been long overdue. I’m sure that our supporters will agree that the new site better reflects the high quality productions that our audiences have come to expect from BATS.

“I’d particularly like to thank Spencer Turner at HCT Creative, who developed the visual design for the site, and Alex Cowan, for his invaluable web development skills to get the new content management system up and running.”
