THE local artists behind the hugely successful All Our Own Work Art Gallery will now be known as Concrete Sketchbook.
And their latest exhibition, the first under the new brand name, is to open on Saturday, January 17, in unit 72B of Basingstoke’s Festival Place shopping centre, opposite Starbucks on the upper floor.
The new exhibition features prints by illustrator Droog79 (Spain), technical drawings by RA Creative (Kingston) and street art by Parlee (Essex).
Kev Munday, one of the founding artists behind the project, said: "In 2014, we showcased the work of over 75 Basingstoke-based artists and exposed Festival Place's customers to a wide range of artforms.
“For 2015, we are stepping things up a gear and, as well as showcasing work by talented local makers, we will be exhibiting work by renowned national and international artists.
“The rebranding to the name Concrete Sketchbook will allow us to push the gallery through online sales and to reach a wider audience."
