TICKETS are now on sale for the over 150 events of this year’s Henley Literary Festival.
The week of events from September 29 until October 5 includes appearances by everyone from comedians and cooks to sport stars and even royalty.
The line-up for the eighth year includes Princess Michael of Kent, Nicholas Parsons (below), Emma Bridgewater, Doreen Lawrence and Dawn O’Porter.
Bestselling novelists including Tony Parsons, Adele Parks and One Day author David Nicholls will appear alongside sporting icons Geoffrey Boycott, Gareth Thomas and Roger Bannister.

Humour will come from Francesca Martinez, Katy Wix and David Quantick while on food and drink there is Oz Clarke, John Whaite and the Hemsley sisters.
From TV and radio, Kirsty Wark, Mark Kermode and Bonnie Greer and Mike Read will all be taking part at the festival. Actors Timothy Spall, Maureen Lipman and George Layton make their Henley debuts, while festival regular Eleanor Bron is back with a new play.
Each of the main political parties is represented with Paddy Ashdown, Chris Bryant and Liam Fox all discussing their new books.
Returning regular strands include Crime & Wine, a full weekend of children’s events and the River Readings aboard a boat on the Thames, which this year focuses on World War One poetry.
