CHINEHAM WI: The WI’s August meeting will this time be held on Monday, at Longbridge Mill.
The institute usually meets at Christ Church on the fourth Monday of each month. For its members, it runs a lunch club, a garden group and a Scrabble evening. New members always welcome.

STANDING down: After 12 years plus of editing the Chineham Chat, the current editor, Dennis Clapp, is sadly standing down. Many will wish to thank him for the hard work he has done.
If you fancy trying your hand as editor (a voluntary role), contact Tony Heeley (adverts@chinehamchat.com) for details. Preferably you should have desktop publishing experience, although this is not essential.
