M3 WORKS traffic: Lorries and heavy vehicles servicing the temporary depot at Kennel Farm for the M3 works are using Hatch Warren and Beggarwood as a route into and out of the site. This has been raised as an urgent concern with the Highways Agency by both the borough council and the local MP. The agency has agreed to come back with a response as soon as possible but at the time of writing we had not yet heard back.
WOODBURY Road bollards: Wooden bollards to prevent cars pulling off the Woodbury Road chicane and parking on the adjoining grass verge were due to be installed this week. This follows complaints from residents that the grass was being churned up making the road muddy and that pulling out here is potentially dangerous.
HATCH Warren and Beggarwood Cycling: A new community cycling club has been formed to encourage local people to enjoy cycling and take part in some regular, organised rides together. The club has a facebook page with more details which can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/ groups/1476015042715709/
