CITIZENS Advice: Citizens Advice Hart District is leading a two year project called Hart Access to Advice which focuses on improving peoples’ access to information and advice. It is developing new communication channels to engage with the residents of Hart by providing information at the heart of their community.
A series of self help information kiosks have been installed in and around Hart providing links to a number of vetted websites relating to the problems people face in their everyday lives.
The kiosk for Hook is located in the community centre, on the desk outside the parish council reception, and is available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
LIFE Church Course: Hook Life Church is running a six-week course, starting Thursday, September 10, titled ‘How to Drug Proof Your Kids’. This is an evidence-based, preventionfocussed course aimed at parents of children aged six to 14 years.
