CIVIC Service: The new chairman of Hampshire County Council, Councillor Jonathan Glen, who represents Rotherwick as part of the Hook and Odiham division, will be hosting his Civic Service in Winchester Cathedral this Sunday at 3.30pm.

Doors open at 2.45pm. The service will feature ‘Freedom and Democracy’ as a theme and includes readings by local schoolchildren and a reception in the historic Great Hall afterwards. All welcome.

Compare it to the Whistler’s this weekend, as Richard and Sue open their famous cottage garden at 1 Wogsbarne Cottages once more for the National Garden Scheme this Sunday and Monday.
