SUMMER Fair: Don’t miss this year’s event this Sunday, July 5, from 11am to 3pm, on the park by the community centre.
There is our first ever dog show, a free bouncy castle for the children, a great BBQ with burgers and sausages from Newlyns Farm Shop, fair rides, choirs, information and updates from the parish council, lots of craft stalls and competitions for all the family. PARISH Council news: The parish council is now advertising for a handyman. They will carry out tasks that will keep Rooksdown clean and tidy ensuring it is a place we can all be proud to live. Applications are welcomed from individuals and companies who have experience in grounds maintenance work. For more information, visit rooksdown.org.uk.
PICNIC: Saturday, July 18, will see the community picnic return from noon to 4pm. Come along and get to know your neighbours.
