SILCHESTER Fete and Dog Show: will be held on the playing field on Saturday, June 20. This will be Silchester’s 56th fete in aid of church funds. The church appreciates the help from all parishioners to make this event a regular success. Lots of stalls and things to see and enjoy.

Free entry. We wonder how many other villages can claim 56 years of a fete every year?
