CHILDREN of Linguatastic, Languages for All, put on a special show to celebrate its 30th anniversary last weekend. More than 70 children performed on stage in a variety of languages, including French, German, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin.
The Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane watched and presented the children with certificates at the end.
Money raised is to be donated to Save the Children. Contributions to this worthwhile cause will be gratefully received via justgiving/ linguatastic.
CHRIST Church activities: It’s Ladies’ Film Night today, from 7pm. All women welcome to join to watch The Theory of Everything. A service of Holy Communion will be held next Tuesday, at 11am.
Luncheon Club will also meet on Tuesday, at noon. The cost is adults £4 and children £2. There is no need to book.
