IMMANUEL with St Mark’s: The church held a community evening last Wednesday, to discuss how it could engage even better with the local residents of the parish.
There was a good turnout, and plenty of good ideas arose during the discussions.
Immanuel will be holding a feedback session on Sunday, June 7.
SUMMER Fair: A date for the diaries now. The community centre will be holding a new event this summer.
There will be a summer fair on the community centre playing fields on the afternoon of Saturday, July 11.
The event is free and there will be plenty of entertainment including games and stalls, a bouncy castle, There will be Frozen entertainers and a best summer cake competition. Bring friends, family and a picnic.
AREA N Application: The application for a development on Area N at Beggarwood, opposite the Co-op, was due to come to the borough’s development control committee Wednesday evening.
