ALLOTMENT decision: Borough council officers have confirmed that the area of Chatsworth Green suggested as a potential allotment site has been dropped. Local residents and councillors expressed strong opposition to the possibility of any part of the green being turned over to allotment space.
The decision has therefore been taken that there will be some additional allotment provision at Beggarwood Park only.
VOTE for The Warren: Don’t forget that you can vote for The Warren youth wing in the council’s Have Your Say vote. Voting takes place at the Carnival Hall, between 3pm and 7pm today.
EASTER Day Service: Immanuel Church will be holding a very special service on Easter Sunday at 10am. The new paschal candle will be lit in the car park and then processed into the church. During the service, there will be the chance for children to go on an Easter egg hunt. At the end of the service, there will be social time with tea and coffee, plus wine and cake.
