RIDGEWAY Community Centre news: Exciting new projects are happening at the Ridgeway Community Centre. Marie Adams was appointed community centre development manager and has been working with Dee O’Sullivan, centre co-ordinator, and the trustees of Buckskin and Worting Community Association.

NEIGHBOURHOOD Partnership: Following a successful application to the Neighbourhood Partnership – Buckskin and South Ham, a sum of £2,000 was awarded to run a café that will be selling a selection of homemade cakes and soups and daily specials with cups of freshly brewed coffee. The café will be opening early April, watch this space.

TODDLER groups: The toddler groups, which run Tuesday and Thursday, from 10am to noon, were awarded £250 for new furniture and equipment. Your ideas on how to spend this would be welcome.

FREE music event: The Ridgeway Community Centre staff and volunteers have been working with Westside Youth Project and Basing-stoke and Deane Borough Council to put on a family-focused, live music event on March 28, from 2pm to 7pm. Email ridgeway2000@ hotmail.com.
