OAKLEY Village Show: Preparations are well in hand for the Oakley Village Show on August 8. Thank you to Oakley Junior School for promoting the ‘design a poster’ competition, which was won by Kayleigh Maishman, aged eight. You can see Kayleigh’s design on the poster and the schedule of classes, which is now available from Jolly Ollys, V and B Butchers or on ocaoakley.org.uk (just click on Village Show).
CLEAN up: This Saturday is Oakley clean up afternoon. Everyone is encouraged to clean up their street and wash their road sign. Please take your litter to the school lay-by between 2pm and 4pm, and get your sticker on the Oakley map, so we can see which streets have been cleaned and to get complimentary refreshments provided by Oakley Community Church. Litter pickers will also be available.
OAKLEY Rambers: On Sunday, the Oakley Ramblers plan a six-mile walk at Binsted, meeting at the school lay-by at 9.50am.
