ART and Craft Exhibition and Fair: This Saturday, 10.30am to 4pm, at Pamber Heath Memorial Hall. The Friday afternoon art and craft group, Deft Fingers, are holding their third art and craft exhibition.The items and paintings on display show just how good our local artists and crafters are.
Come along and see the paintings, cards, knitwear, quilting, jewellery and more that’s on display and for sale. All items are realistically priced and made by the exhibitors. There are gifts and cards for Easter too. Hot food will be available from noon, other refreshments from 11am. Entry is free. For more details, call 0118 9700754.
VICTOR and Albert: The last hall theatre evening for this season took place on March 7. What a very funny show!
The two actors cracked jokes, sung songs and played music. They were very good. There was some audience participation, which went down well. The co-opted members of the audience enjoyed themselves immensely. Next autumn will be the 20th season we have held these evenings and I think most people have really enjoyed them.
