INTERNATIONAL Women’s Day: Local not-for-profit organisation Hampshire Wellbeing Services is running an International Women’s Day event, celebrating women’s strength, on Saturday, March 7, from 2pm to 6pm at Brookvale Village Hall, in Lower Brook Street.
Planned attractions include a gallery of the women of the world, pamper and grooming activities, health information, cultural dance, talks, wellbeing workshops, ethnic food and recipes, as well as family activities. Call 01256 423830 for further information.
BROOKVALE Community Association: Their next committee meeting is on March 10, at 7.30pm at the village hall.
The association is looking forward to a range of forthcoming activities including Brookvale in Bloom prize-giving in July and its popular Hallowe’en event on October 31.
WINE Tasting evening: Local charity RadCan, which raises funds for radiotherapy facilities in north Hampshire, is running a wine tasting evening on March 27, from 7pm, at the village hall.
