SOUTH Ham/Berg Estate Councillors’ Surgery: The next surgery will be held today, between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, at Westside Community Centre. If you require advice on housing, benefits, antisocial behaviour issues, social services, educational matters etc, no appointment is required, just call in.
NUMBER 3B bus service: The newly introduced No 3B bus runs hourly Monday to Saturday, between 8.30am and 6.30pm. The route is circular from town via Winchester Road, Hill View Road, St Andrew’s Church, Western Way, Brackley Way, Woodroffe Drive, Buckland Avenue, Stag Hill, and back. All buses are of the low-level accessible design.
The bus is subsidised by the borough council on a piloted basis. The pilot period has now been extended by three months from April until June. The passenger numbers will be monitored and if not used sufficiently the service will stop.
WESTSIDE Senior Citizens Club (55 plus): Meets at the Westside Community Centre, every Wednesday between 2pm and 3.45pm, with many activities. They also organise day trips out. Contact Nicky on 01256 464571.
