BUS changes: As from January 5, the No 11 bus service route is being changed.
The No 11 will no longer service the Berg/South Ham Estate. On January 5, a new 3b service will be introduced as a replacement service. The No 3b will run hourly, Monday to Saturday, between 8.30am and 6.30pm.
The route will be circular from town via Winchester Road, Hill View Road, St Andrew’s Church, Western Way, Brackley Way, Woodroffe Drive, Buckland Avenue, Stag Hill and back. All buses will be of the low level accessible design.
The No 3b route is being subsidised by the borough council and will run as a pilot until April 4. During the pilot period passenger numbers will be monitored to determine whether the service should in future continue. Please note that the current No 3 and 4/4a will continue to run as normal.
BUS passes: From January 5 bus passes can only be used after 9.30am. Disabled bus passes can still continue to be used before 9.30am.
